Cheese Kunafa Recipe | Easy Arabian Sweet Dish with Vermicelli

Fancy a rich, fruity, unkempt and golden brown crunchy food? This delicious kunafa meal brings the rich flavours of the Middle East straight to your kitchen! A classic Arabic dish, kunafa is perfect for parties, Eid festivities or a royal weekend away.
Ingredients for the Kunafa base:
Kunafa or vermicelli dough 250g
grated 100g unsalted melt-in-your-mouth filling Optional
pinch of orange food colouring
For the filling:
A mug of grated mozzarella A cup of ricotta,
cream or half a mug For a sweet filling,
you can add two tablespoons of sugar.
For sweetness:
A single mug of sugar Half a mug of water Bomb juice, one tablespoon
A tablespoon optional orange blossom or rose water
Directions:
Toast the sugar and water in a saucepan until they are thick, about 8 to 10 times, to make the warm toast.
Add the rosewater and bomb juice and stir.
Allow to cool fully.
Combine the melted adula, food coloring, and broken kunafa dough to produce the kunafadorst.
Apply oil painting oil makeup to a baking dish to grease it.
Distribute half of the kunafa dough inversely over the bottom.
Using a spoon, fill the dough after pressing it strongly.
Pour the remaining ricotta and mozzarella over the dough after mixing them together.

Sear 30 to 35 times till golden brown and crisp.
Initially, scatter the melted sugar over the warm kunafadorst.
Before dicing, let seasoning five to ten times.
Serve warm, garnished with pistachios!
